Enough about my company, here’s a bit about me!

So you’re probably thinking ‘What’s Rob's background, and how did he get into the shape he’s in today?’ Well, let me tell you. I’ve not always been in the shape I am today, it took time and a lot of effort. You see, in school, I was never the typical football captain type, I was small, skinny and always put my name down for sports that I knew I was no good at so I wouldn’t get picked. Even though I was very good at running and boxing at the time, I just didn’t enjoy getting rings run around me on the footy pitch or watching the bigger lads out shot put me by yards.

 

So what changed?

I joined the Army in 1997 and found that I was really quite good at running (for all my limitations) so I decided to get even better which led me into the Cross Country Team and winning a BMW Z5 (for a weekend) in a boxing Tournament.

RobbeforeBut unfortunately, that all changed once again when I left the Army in 2002.

I went from being able to kick up dust in my fellow comrades' faces on a run to being fat and lazy and struggling to walk a significant distance without my calves burning and getting out of breath because I had put on 4 stone in blubber! Shirts, jeans and tracksuit bottoms just didn’t look right on me so I decided to get off of my fat lazy behind and do something about it.

 

 

 

What did I do?

RobtopI found a gym and running track quite close to where I lived and used to go and do some laps most days and hit the gym the others. I learnt about nutrition, lifting weights and how my body functioned. I couldn’t believe how passionate I was about these new things I was now learning, so after speaking to a Personal Trainer, I decided to get qualified and help other people who have been in a similar position to myself but maybe didn’t have the time or passion as me to study up on the subject of Fat Loss and Fitness.

 

So you see, this is why I have opened up and told you my story, so you can see that I’m probably not too dissimilar from yourself. I’ve had my struggles and overcome them and so can YOU! I’m now passionate about helping as people as much as possible to achieve their health and fitness goals to give them the confidence and body they truly deserve.
